Mrs. Rivas has over 13 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker having a multilingual and dual language background. She has worked with a variety of populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals with problems with substance abuse, people who are victims of violence and sexual assault in intimate relationships, etc. Ms. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since the year 2019. She is currently offering telehealth Behavioral Health services. Mrs. Rivas works with women who are pregnant or postpartum in the Perinatal Behavioral Team. She specializes in trauma informed care, as well as EMDR services for adults. She offers individual and group counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Therapy Program and referrals for specialist care and a Women's Support Group. Amanda works with Best Friends Animal Society to help homeless animals find homes.
