Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town in South African on December 2, 1981. Model and actress best known for appearing in TV and film. Brandt started her career in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her character Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the last decade she has appeared in a ton of television shows, including those that of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt portrays the role of Mazikeen in the show based on urban fantasy Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was was raised in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Her career began as a model when she appeared in print advertisements and commercials. She worked as an IT recruiting consultant and in retail before becoming a well-known fashion model. The first time she was featured, she landed her role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character of Leilani Fa'auigaese. Her first big appearance was in 2021 when she played the character of slave-girl Naevia on the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In addition, she reprised her character of Naevia for the prequel miniseries Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series that included Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The year 2016 saw her was cast playing an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen on the Netflix series Lucifer. The role is her most prominent up to now. This show has her co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
