Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest child and only daughter born to Richard McCormick, in 1956 - was born in Woodland Hills (California) on 5 August. Her father taught at school, while her mother stayed at the house. Michael Dennis Kevin was one of her elder siblings. McCormick was an accomplished performer and dancer at the age of 6. She performed puppet shows to children from her neighbourhood. McCormick's fairytale began when she was six years old. She was crowned an award in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest. She then received a phone call to Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she consider to join the show business. McCormick got her first big job in 1964, where she was the star of the first commercial on TV for Mattel's latest doll "Baby Pattaburp." Another commercial for Mattel was filmed in 1964, for the "Chatty-Cathy" doll. The following year, she was chosen as the main character of Wind It Up and It breaks on the stage of The La Jolla Playhouse. McCormick was the eldest of three daughters with two heads in The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch. Florence Henderson was the main character as well as Robert Reed was the father. It lasted five years. McCormick revealed, in the book that was published in 2008, entitled Here's My Story: Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice the fact that Barry Williams was her screen brother. He was 19 years old. He was 16. This could have happened as she explained. "But the timing of our deaths was not the right one."
